Bob Schneider is a lifelong runner and educator. He is currently teach math at Edina (MN USA) High School. While he no longer runs due to a knee injury suffered coaching high school basketball, running has been one of the defining characteristics of his life.

Bob has developed a software business with his wife Gina and oldest son Rob (online at http://www.h51software.net). They create educational software and services and, as a result of his background in running and inability to run currently, they manage fitness events in the upper midwest.

Bob developed this site after taking over the cc program at Robbinsdale (MN USA) Cooper High School in 2003 and was looking for a way to get his new team to run over the summer. After having little success in previous coaching positions with getting kids to run and record their mileage, he came up with this idea.
